Trained security personnel at every gate — nobody enters without being logged. The perimeter is covered and patrol continues through the night.

  • CCTV across common areas

Camera coverage at pathways, dining, reception and washroom corridors means no blind spots in the shared areas of the camp.

  • Fire safety equipment

Fire extinguishers are placed at every tent block with clear emergency evacuation routes and a trained fire-safety marshal on duty.

  • On-site first-aid station

A staffed first-aid post with basic medical supplies and an attendant available throughout your stay. Coordination with Trimbakeshwar hospital for any escalations.

Facilities

Everything you need — nothing left out.

From power backup to hygienic meals, every facility at the camp is operational and maintained — not just listed on a brochure.

Uninterrupted power backup

A dedicated generator keeps every tent and common area powered even when the grid fails during peak Kumbh days — so your fan, AC or phone charging is never interrupted.

Filtered, clean drinking water

We supply filtered, regularly tested drinking water at each tent block. Hot water for bathing is available in attached washrooms throughout the day.

Hygienic attached washrooms

Every tent has a private attached western washroom — cleaned daily by our housekeeping team. No shared toilets, no queues, no compromise on hygiene.

Sattvic on-site dining

Our kitchen operates under food safety protocols, serving pure vegetarian sattvic meals — no onion, no garlic, with Jain options available on prior request.

Medical & first-aid support

A first-aid station is operational at all times. Our team can arrange medical transport to Trimbakeshwar or Nashik hospitals in any emergency.

Shuttle to the Snan ghats

Complimentary shuttle runs between the camp and the main Snan ghats every morning. On Shahi Snan days when roads close, we coordinate golf-cart transfer to designated drop zones.

Location

Close enough to walk. Calm enough to rest.

Being close to the action without being in the middle of the chaos is the real advantage of staying with us. The camp sits on the Godavari riverside — the most sacred stretch of the Kumbh Mela zone.

  • Riverfront — on the Godavari banks
  • Complimentary shuttle to Snan ghats daily
  • Golf-cart pickup to vehicle drop zones on Shahi Snan days

Our experience

We have operated pilgrimage camps — not just read about them.

The team behind Trimbakeshwar Tent City has managed pilgrim accommodation in this region across multiple major religious gatherings. That first-hand experience means we anticipate what pilgrims need — and what can go wrong — before it does.

We know the Shahi Snan chaos

We have operated through the highest-footfall days at Kumbh and have learned how to keep a camp calm, clean and functional when the streets are at capacity.

We know elderly pilgrim needs

Shorter walking distances, accessible washrooms, consistent hot water and easy communication with family members — these are not extras; they are defaults.

We know local coordination

Our relationships with local authorities, shuttle operators and vendors mean last-minute changes on Shahi Snan days are managed — not surprised by.

Your questions, answered

Everything you want to know before booking.

Honest answers about our safety, facilities, location and what to expect on the Shahi Snan days.

How safe is the tent city during the Kumbh Mela?

Safety is our first priority. The camp runs 24/7 manned security at all entry and exit points, CCTV coverage across common areas, fire-safety equipment at every block and a dedicated first-aid station staffed throughout the stay. We coordinate directly with local authorities and the Kumbh Mela security setup during Shahi Snan days.

Is there reliable electricity and clean water at the camp?

Yes. Power backup via a dedicated generator keeps lighting and fans or AC units running uninterrupted even during grid outages — which can happen during peak pilgrimage days. Drinking water is supplied from a filtered, regularly tested source, and each tent has running hot water in the attached washroom.

How far is the tent city from the Snan ghats and Trimbakeshwar temple?

The camp is on the Godavari riverside, approximately 1.5–3 km from the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga and within comfortable range of the main Snan ghats. We operate a complimentary shuttle service to the ghats on regular days, and a golf-cart service to our vehicle-drop zones on Shahi Snan days when roads are restricted to foot traffic.

What meals are available, and is the kitchen hygienic?

Our on-site kitchen serves pure sattvic vegetarian meals — no onion, no garlic, and Jain options on request. The kitchen follows food safety protocols, with daily cleaning routines. Deluxe guests receive complimentary breakfast; Premium and AC Luxury tiers include two or three full sattvic meals per day.

Is there medical support on site?

Yes. We maintain a first-aid station at the camp with basic medical supplies and a trained attendant on duty. For more serious situations, we coordinate with the nearest hospital in Trimbakeshwar and Nashik and can arrange transport. We strongly recommend guests travelling with elderly family members or those on medication to inform us ahead of arrival.

Can I trust the testimonials and claims made about the camp?

We believe in honest representation. The facilities described — security, power backup, clean water, washrooms, shuttle service — are standard at our camp, not aspirational claims. We will share real guest photos and references on WhatsApp when you enquire. Our testimonials on this page will be updated with verified guest accounts as they are submitted.
