Good to know

Questions pilgrims ask us.

Straight answers first. Still unsure? A real person replies on WhatsApp, usually within minutes.

How far is the tent city from Trimbakeshwar temple?

The tent city sits on the Godavari riverside roughly 1.5–3 km from the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga temple, with a complimentary shuttle and golf-cart service to the main Snan ghats. Walking is also comfortable on non-Shahi-Snan days.

What are the main Shahi Snan dates for Kumbh Mela 2027?

The main royal bathing days for the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027 are 2 August, 31 August, and 11–12 September 2027. We recommend booking your tent at least 3–4 days around your chosen Snan date.

Are the tents safe and suitable for families and elders?

Yes. Every tent has a solid wooden floor, an attached private washroom, 24/7 security, on-site medical support and power backup. Premium and AC Luxury tents add cushioned seating and shorter walking distances, which suit elderly pilgrims well.

Is the food vegetarian?

All meals served in the tent city are pure vegetarian (sattvic), prepared without onion or garlic on request, and cooked in a hygienic on-site kitchen. Jain meal options are available on prior notice.

How do I book, and what is the payment process?

Message us on WhatsApp or call to check availability for your dates. We hold your tent with a 30% advance; the balance is due on arrival. Booking opens early because Shahi Snan dates sell out months in advance.

What should I carry for the Kumbh stay?

Carry comfortable cotton clothing, a change for the holy dip, personal medication, a government photo ID, and sturdy footwear. We provide bedding, towels, hot water and drinking water; a pooja kit is included with AC Luxury tents.
